How It Works
Vaulted Goods is built around private requests, not public inventory. You send the details of the watch, strap, or accessory you are looking for, and each request is reviewed before availability, pricing, timing, or next steps are confirmed.
For watches, the goal is to understand the exact model, reference, condition, and budget. For straps and accessories, the goal is also to confirm fit, compatibility, material, and whether the request needs to be original/OEM.
The Process
Each request moves through a simple review process before anything is confirmed.
-
Start by sending the details of what you are looking for. This can be a watch, strap, buckle, clasp, box, pouch, bracelet link, booklet, or another watch accessory. Include the brand, model, reference number if you know it, preferred condition, budget, timing, and any photos that can help identify the correct item.
For strap and accessory requests, photos are especially helpful. A picture of the watch, current strap or bracelet, clasp, lugs, caseback, or the item you are trying to match can make the review more accurate.
-
After the request is submitted, Vaulted Goods reviews the information to understand what is actually needed. This includes checking the watch model, possible fit, OEM preference, condition expectations, budget range, and how realistic the request is based on availability.
Not every item is worth pursuing. Some pieces may be unavailable, overpriced, incorrect for the watch, or not in the right condition. The review process helps filter that before anything moves forward.
-
If the request is realistic, sourcing options are reviewed. For watches, this means looking at the correct model, reference, year, condition, set details, and pricing. For straps and accessories, this means checking size, compatibility, material, color, clasp or buckle requirements, and whether an original brand part is needed.
The goal is not to send random options. The goal is to find something that fits the request properly and makes sense based on the details provided.
-
If a suitable option is found, the relevant information is sent back for review. This may include price, condition, what is included, timing, and any important notes about fit or compatibility.
Nothing is treated as confirmed just because a request was submitted. You review the option first, ask questions if needed, and decide whether it makes sense to move forward.
-
Vaulted Goods does not use automatic checkout for requests. There is no public cart and no instant purchase process. Every request is handled individually, and nothing moves forward until the item, pricing, timing, and next steps are confirmed directly.
This keeps the process more controlled, especially for items where condition, authenticity, fit, and completeness matter.
Reviewed Individually
Every request is different. A modern watch request is not the same as finding a discontinued strap, a matching buckle, a missing box, or a specific bracelet link. Submitting a request does not guarantee availability or pricing. It simply starts the review process.
